I started This Blog To Inspire Anyone Who Is coping with the loss of a loved one, particularly a child.
I want to inspire you to find the will to live again. If you are like me and lost an only child, coping with such a loss is particularly challenging. I am here to tell you that you can breathe again. As you allow me to share with you, I hope to help you rise and embrace the beauty in life again. There will be laughter and tears along the way, but we will be stronger as we move through the coming days and hopefully years. I have to reiterate that I am not a therapist, social worker, or mental health professional. I have my life stories of how I coped and overcame my struggles and how these experiences made me stronger today.
I started This Blog To Encourage Readers To Keep Moving Forward.
I want to encourage you to keep moving forward in life. After any loss, emotional or physical, there are sometimes setbacks. Birthdays, anniversaries that once were celebratory occasions are often sources of sadness. As you allow me to share some of the new daily routines I embraced as part of my mission to move forward, I hope to help you face all life’s new possibilities. There will be laughter and tears along the way, but we will be stronger as we move through the coming days and hopefully years. I have to reiterate that I am not a therapist, social worker, or mental health professional. I have my life stories of how I coped and overcame my struggles and how these experiences made me stronger today.
I started This Blog To Encourage Anyone Dealing With Abuse.
I want to encourage you that there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Whether you are currently in an abusive relationship or have lived through abuse, physical or emotional, some scars inevitably form. I am here to encourage you that these scars do not have to define you. Scars tell stories. Stories of survival and when we embrace a life of possibilities, scars become stories of positivity and empowerment. I learned to embrace my scars by accepting who I am in all my imperfections and finally learned to love the person I am, and I am stronger for it. I hope to encourage, inspire and motive you to do the same. I have to reiterate that I am not a therapist, social worker, or mental health professional. I have my life stories of how I coped and overcame my struggles and how these experiences made me stronger today.
I Started This Blog To Share My Creativity. Why Insomniacs Delight?
I struggle with insomnia more often than I care to admit. Unlike most, modern medicine does not seem to work. I tried the non-traditional route of watching the “boring movies” or reading a book, listening to music, and meditating. You name it. I tried it. Embracing my life-path of positivity, I decided to use my insomniac time (yes, I coined the phrase) to create rather than clock-watch. Insomniacs Delight is a series of short stories and songs I write during my insomniac time. As with anything I do, I hope that my short stories, songs, and book series serve as sources of inspiration. I cover different genres in my prose, so hopefully, there is something to delight everyone.
I Started This Blog To Encourage Readers To Find Joy By Learning To Embrace Life’s Little Imperfections. Laughing At Myself (LAM)
Have you ever been rushing to get to work only to discover that you cannot find your house keys? You search and search but cannot find it. You cannot believe that you are going to be late today of all days. Finally, you are about to give up only to discover that the keys are actually in the keyhole of the front door (ah, where you put it, to begin with). So now, what do you do? You have two choices. One, move through the day with a frustrated attitude. In this instance, no one wins. Two, you can simply “laugh at yourself.” File this moment away and pull it out when you need a joy-pick-me-up. I have many LAM moments filed away. Some, I will admit, are embarrassing (at the time) but hilarious. I hope that my LAM moments will inspire you to find joy. If you are having a particularly challenging day, perhaps my LAM moments will put a smile on your face.
I encourage readers to share their LAM moments. Let’s spread the joy!
